Terri Schiavo's family misery become a national spectacle near the end of October 2003 when the Supreme court ordered to reinsert the feeding tube against the wishes of her husband.

There were many reports about the million-dollar malpractice settlement done by Schiavo's husband and also in another angle against Schiavo's parents who wanted Schiavo to live so that they get the money . . . well the truth, GOD only knows . . . its horrible and quite devasting for any family to bear such a situation.

The judicial and legislative battles to disconnect her feeding tube generated tremendous media coverage during the last two weeks of her life, Euthanasia, Bioethics, legal guardianship, federalism, civil rights, etc., were on hot and fierce debate then.

Considering the case, i would say its a 50 / 50 chance. Though doctors ruled out any possibility of Sciavo returning back to normal life, miracles do happen. CNN.com reports of a Baby born while mother was in coma, now a normal toddler.

But with the technological advancements there is every chance for the doctors to predict the exact happening.

Though its not morally correct to take away someone's life, while reading the book "Doctors" by Erich Segal, you would definetly appreciate how Euthanasia would be the best bet at times. Seth Lazarus was supposed to be, GOD for many downed souls whose beloved were caught in between life and death.

I wish this kinda thing never happens to someone else in the future !

On March 31, 2005 at approximately 9.05am, Terri Schindler-Schiavo lost her nearly 14 day struggle against starvation and dehydration and died at the Hospice Woodside in Pinellas Park, Florida.
